Capture Love in Song
Eclipse Chorus Presents Its 15th Annual Spring Show
“If you could capture love, give it shape and let it breathe, it would be a song for you and me”.
On Saturday, May 12, Eclipse Chorus breathes life into these lyrics from an original composition by our own Wes Froese and former chorus member Pam Haidenger-Bains. Our evening spans the arc of romantic love from the blossoming stage (I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You) to relationship challenges (The Things We Do for Love) to broken hearts (Breaking Up is Hard to Do). Also blended into this sentimental journey is the joy and importance of brotherly love, love of a higher power and care for the welfare of the wider world through an energetic mix of popular music and the gospel genre (Heal The World, Oh Happy Day).
You’ll hear selections from The Great American Song Book to Bob Dylan, the Everly Brothers, the Eagles, Michael Buble and more.
A spirited, thoughtful and fun-filled stroll down the memory lane of love awaits. Let Eclipse “Put a Little Love in Your Heart”. Come join us!!
