It’s no secret – we miss singing, we miss gathering, and we miss our audience. It’s been a tough year.
If you miss us as much as we miss you, please consider supporting us through our CanadaHelps Page – as a thank you for donations over $15, we will send you the link to a virtual concert which will be available for viewing until July 5th!
Between the pandemic and isolation, it has been an extraordinarily tough year for all of us. Luckily for Eclipse, we have an amazing Director and Accompanist who have made the separation a little less lonely by getting us set up to sing online!
We are even managing to work on a Virtual Spring “Concert”! If you’re interested in hearing us sing, please consider a minimum $10 donation through our Canada Helps page to get the link when the concert is ready for distribution! Be sure to include your email in the prompts so that we can get in touch!

Christmas is the most wonderful time for celebrating favorite memories of past holiday seasons and for creating new memories to treasure in coming years. Get into the Christmas Spirit with Eclipse Chorus’ 15th annual Christmas concert. This year, Eclipse dips into the collective memory bank and pulls out some memorable songs. Mom’s favourite song, that first Christmas in the big city, that special movie with the family around the tube – these are some of the memories that Christmas songs can stir up. Classic Eclipse favourites like Angels We Have Heard On High, new arrangements of old classics like Here We Come A-Wassailing, and a memorable arrangement of O Holy Night by Angie Tysseland are included in the program. With many unique arrangements by our talented Roy and Wes, you’re in for a spirit-warming evening.
Special guest percussionist Darrell Bueckert joins the red-hot Eclipse band of Wes Froese (piano), Bruce Wilkinson (bass), Byron Olsen (guitar), and Don Tatchell (drums).
Join us as we share some memories of Christmases past, as well as create some exciting new ones!
Eclipse Chorus Presents Its 15th Annual Spring Show
“If you could capture love, give it shape and let it breathe, it would be a song for you and me”.
On Saturday, May 12, Eclipse Chorus breathes life into these lyrics from an original composition by our own Wes Froese and former chorus member Pam Haidenger-Bains. Our evening spans the arc of romantic love from the blossoming stage (I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You) to relationship challenges (The Things We Do for Love) to broken hearts (Breaking Up is Hard to Do). Also blended into this sentimental journey is the joy and importance of brotherly love, love of a higher power and care for the welfare of the wider world through an energetic mix of popular music and the gospel genre (Heal The World, Oh Happy Day).
You’ll hear selections from The Great American Song Book to Bob Dylan, the Everly Brothers, the Eagles, Michael Buble and more.
A spirited, thoughtful and fun-filled stroll down the memory lane of love awaits. Let Eclipse “Put a Little Love in Your Heart”. Come join us!!
In its 14th annual Christmas show, Eclipse Chorus and red-hot band bring their trademark enthusiasm to interpreting popular seasonal standards with unique arrangements by our talented Roy and Wes, together with Christmas songs by Canada’s Rita McNeil, Robbie Robertson and Andrea Menard. Top off the 150 stocking with Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and a new composition by Canadian composer Brian Tate, “Together We Are” and you’re in for a spirit-warming evening.
