Fall Registration, Tuesday, September 6, 2016

WoodstockRegistration for the fall term will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 419 Ave E North, Saskatoon, on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.   Join us as we start to get ready for our Christmas concert.   You just never know what Roy Sydiaha will have up his sleeve to make it a memorable experience for the chorus and the audience.

To paraphrase Miley Cyrus:

There’s nothing more fun than being out on stage and getting the vibe from the crowd. There’s nothing like being on a set where you are there to make other people happy and to make them laugh. That’s the best time in the world.

Eclipse Spring Concert 2016From Sock Hop to Woodstock – Music From the 50’s & 60’s

This spring Eclipse rekindles the musical fires of the Doo-wap era, Elvis, the Age of Aquarius, the Beatles and many other favorites from the 50’s and 60’s. Come join the retro fun at the Broadway Theatre. Can you dig it?  Let it all hang out…be cool, dress up and really get in the spirit. Resurrect your poodle skirts, flat tops, mop tops, grannie glasses, tie-dyes and Afros. Be there or be square!  We guarantee you’ll be “Feelin’ Groovy!”

Enthusiastically directed by the multitalented Roy Sydiaha, Eclipse Chorus is energized by one of the finest bands in the land: Wes Froese on electric smile and keyboards, Don Tatchell on drums, Byron Olsen on guitar and Warren Hay on bass.

Tickets $25 at The Broadway Theatre Box Office or from Eclipse Chorus Members

7707910020_5a71e74459_oThe Christmas Concert is over (what a blast!), and we’re now looking forward to chasing away the winter blues by working our way through through some snappy summer tunes for singin’ in the spring!   Warm company, some great songs, and the ever great duo of Roy Sydiaha as music director and Wes Froese at piano (you never quite know whether you’ll be laughing, singing, or learning about some obscure bit of music theory at any given point in time….).

If you’re thinking about joining, we’d love to have you give us a try.  Registration for the second term of Eclipse will be taking place at Christ Church Anglican on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 7:30 pm. The address is 515 28th Street W, Saskatoon.
