Let the Eclipse Rhythm and Soulful Chorus take us back to the Days of Cruzin’ in the 50’s.

Put on your leather jacket, a little dab of Brylcreem and meet your favorite gal at the corner malt shop. Instead of listening to DoWap on the jukebox come join us live at the Broadway Theatre on May 13th at 7:30. Oh wait…. why stop with cruzin’ with your best gal when you can Groove to your favorite tunes of the 60’s. The Beatles, Mamas and the Papas, Simon and Garfunkel to mention a few. So… mop tops, Neru suits, mod and flower power we’ll cover them all. So let us transport you back to the 50’s and 60’s with songs by your favorite artists.

Have you always wanted to join Eclipse? We are excited to announce that our registration night will be held on January 10th @ 7:30pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church. This will be a chance for you to meet our director and some of your fellow chorus members, and grab your music!

Together Again at Christmas

We are more than excited to be “Together Again at Christmas” with you back at the Broadway Theatre. That’s Sunday, December 11th at 7:30PM. As always, Eclipse Chorus will fill your stockings with energy, enthusiasm, and holiday spirit, getting you in the mood for Christmas. Featuring Director, Roy Sydiaha, Pianist, Wes Froese and the Eclipse band. The show is packed with unique carol arrangements, traditional favourites and an array of genres satisfying every musical taste. We all look forward to being “Together again at Christmas”.

Registration Night!

Have you been thinking of joining Eclipse? We are excited to announce that our registration night will be held on January 11th @ 7:30pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church. This will be a chance for you to meet our director and some of your fellow chorus members, and grab your music!

If you have ever thought about singing or joining, now is your chance! For those of you who are a little nervous of socializing in the time of Covid, we are implementing a number of safety protocols and are even working on live streaming our rehearsals online!

As the holiday season draws closer, Eclipse has been working to create a new virtual Christmas Concert to share with you all. If you would like to celebrate the holidays with Eclipse as your soundtrack, please consider making a minimum donation of $15 to our CanadaHelps Page so that we can send you a link to the show!

Our Executive team has also confirmed that we are intending to return to in-person practices in the new year! Our registration night is currently planned for January 11th, 2022. Please add it to your calendars and more details will be provided as we approach the new year!

What a year it has been!

Between the pandemic and isolation, it has been an extraordinarily tough year for all of us. Luckily for Eclipse, we have an amazing Director and Accompanist who have made the separation a little less lonely by getting us set up to sing online!

We are even managing to work on a Virtual Spring “Concert”! If you’re interested in hearing us sing, please consider a minimum $10 donation through our Canada Helps page to get the link when the concert is ready for distribution! Christmas is in the Air!

“Do You Hear What I Hear?” A chorus of “Angels” is coming to Broadway Theatre on Sunday, December 8th to let you know that “Christmas is in the Air!”

Directed by Roy Sydiaha, featuring guest artist Eileen Laverty and band members Wes Froese (keyboard), Bruce Wilkinson (bass), Byron Olsen (guitar), Don Tatchell (drums), Brian Morgan (sax), and Adam Streisel (trumpet), Eclipse Chorus’ 16th annual Christmas concert is guaranteed to have you singing “Joy to the World!” As always, the concert will feature Eclipse favourites, including unique arrangements by our own Roy and Wes, alongside several exciting new pieces. So “O Come All Ye Faithful” to Broadway Theatre at 7:30pm on December 8th and, if you enjoy yourself, remember to “Go Tell It on the Mountain!”
